Yamaha Outboard Tuning in Bradenton & Sarasota
Your Yamaha is built to run hard, and a performance calibration lets it make the most of that. Our technicians reprogram your Yamaha's ECU (engine computer) with fuel and ignition curves optimized for 89 octane or better, so your motor can reach its max horsepower and slightly beyond. No new parts are needed. Yamaha tunes start at $750.
Two Yamaha Tune Options
We offer two kinds of Yamaha tunes, so you can pick the one that fits your motor and how you run your boat.
Outboard EFI Yamaha Tunes (from $750)
Small motors
- F20B (2018+): tuned to 25HP. F25C (2018+): tuned to 35HP.
- F30 (2013+) and F40 (2008+): tuned to 47HP.
Mid-size motors
- F50 (2005–2011) and F60 (2005–2012): tuned to 75HP.
- F70 (2010–2024): tuned to 85HP.
- F75A and F90A: tuned to 100HP. F115A (2005–2016): tuned to 130HP.
Big motors
- 2.7L F150: tuned to 175HP.
- 3.3L F200T/XA: 225HP. F225T/XA: 250HP. F250T: 275HP.

NIZPRO Yamaha Tunes (from $849)
NIZPRO tunes cover many newer and bigger Yamahas, including the SHO line:
- 1.0L F50, F60, T50, T60 and JET 60/40
- 1.8L F75, F90, F115 and JET 115/90, plus SHO VF90 and VF115
- 2.7L F150 and JET 150/105, and 2.8L F150 to F200, plus SHO VF150 and VF175
- 4.2L V6 F225 to F300, plus SHO VF200 to VF250
- 4.3L F350 (2024 and newer), and 5.3L V8 F300 and F350
- 5.6L V8 XTO F425 (the motor and boat must be at our shop for this one)

Mail in your ECU from anywhere in the USA. Order your motor's tune in our store, ship your ECU to 3232 26th Ave E, Unit D, Bradenton, FL 34208 (we recommend insuring the package), and we mail it back ready to install.
Yamaha Tuning FAQ
How much is a Yamaha tune? Outboard EFI tunes run $750 to $1,050. NIZPRO tunes run $849 to $1,399, and the XTO F425 starts at $1,625.
What's the difference between Outboard EFI and NIZPRO? They're two different tune makers that cover different Yamaha models and years. Tell us your motor, and we'll recommend the right one.
My Yamaha isn't running right. Will a tune help? No. A tune won't fix existing problems. Our technicians can diagnose and repair your Yamaha first in our Bradenton shop.
