Tohatsu Outboard Tuning in Bradenton & Sarasota
We're a Tohatsu dealer, and we tune Tohatsu outboards from the smallest kickers to the 2.0L lineup. Our technicians reprogram your Tohatsu's ECU with a performance calibration. The fuel and ignition curves are optimized for 89 octane or better, so your motor can reach its max horsepower and slightly beyond. Tohatsu tunes start at $750.
Tohatsu Models We Tune
Small motors
- MFS8C and MFS9.8 (2024+): tuned to 13HP.
- MFS9.9, MFS15 and MFS20 (2017+): tuned to 25HP.
Mid-size motors
- MFS25B/C and MFS30B/C: MFS25 tuned to 32HP.
- MFS40 and MFS50: tuned to 60HP. MFS60: 70HP.
2.0L motors
- MFS75 and MFS90 (2020+): tuned to 145HP.
- MFS115, MFS140 and MFS150 are covered too.

Mail in your ECU from anywhere in the USA. Order your motor's tune in our store, ship your ECU to 3232 26th Ave E, Unit D, Bradenton, FL 34208 (we recommend insuring the package), and we mail it back ready to install.
Tohatsu Tuning FAQ
How much is a Tohatsu tune? From $750 for small motors, and $850 for the MFS25 through the 2.0L MFS150.
Can a small Tohatsu really gain that much? Each store listing shows the tuned HP rating for that model, for example 25HP for the MFS9.9, MFS15 and MFS20.
Do you also service Tohatsus? Yes. We're a Tohatsu dealer, and our technicians can repair and maintain your motor in our Bradenton shop.
