Outboard & Engine Repair for Palmetto Boaters
Outboard & Engine Repair Near Palmetto, Just Across the River
If you live in Palmetto, our shop is right across the Manatee River. Cross the bridge on US-41 or US-301 into Bradenton and you're at McKeever's Marine in about 10 to 15 minutes. That makes us a close, local choice when your outboard needs service or a repair.
Built for How Palmetto Boaters Use Their Boats
Palmetto boaters run the Manatee River, fish the grass flats around Terra Ceia Bay, and head out past the Sunshine Skyway into Tampa Bay and the Gulf. A lot of those trips mean shallow water, sand and grass. That can wear water pump impellers, clog cooling intakes and damage props and lower units. River and bay boating also means plenty of idling and slow running, which can lead to fouled plugs and rough running. We see these problems often and know how to fix them.

Before Hurricane Season and After
Storms and long breaks can leave a boat sitting. Fuel goes stale and parts dry out. Before you put the boat back in the water, a tune-up and fuel system check can save you from a dead motor on the river.
